A superficial universe. a superficial society. it is the basic entity that embraced our lives. The media has consumed us. and we acted consequently to its demands. There is a societal outlook that we all feel obliged to carry through because if we don’t. we may be patronized or be condescended upon. We live in fright on how others may knock and picture us. Because of this. the media. our society. has the expansive power of puting these guide lines of societal outlooks. Though we may hold undergone a strict conflict against these outlooks. we finally failed to be winning.
Social outlooks can be rendered as a signifier we are all familiar with. equal force per unit area. We do non necessitate person to state us how to move or dress. but we observed how others performed. We so noticed how we begin to move or dress like the others did. I believe the thought of societal outlook is apparent between a New Yorker and a Californian. Despite the fact that they do talk the same linguistic communication. their manner of linguistic communication is different. Certain manner of address or phrases that are used by a New Yorker would perplex the Californian and frailty versa. The societal outlooks within these two people and their separate societies influenced them to move the manner they did.
Langston Hughes was a victim of societal outlook. He was told by his seniors that everyone would be able to experience the kernel of Jesus in their organic structures and be “saved” once they are placed on the mourner’s bench. Upon geting at the mourner’s bench. he realized that he had felt nil while others claimed that they felt Jesus. This was a ceremonial and Hughes was the last kid on the bench. The vibrant music played. while others urged him to be saved. He became so pressured by everyone’s outlooks that he lied and said he had felt Jesus. Though he regretted it. it proved to him that the societal outlooks of everyone had seized him.
Our society’s outlooks have devoured us. commanding how we interact and perform with others around us. It is our interior insecurity that we obliged to such outlooks blindly. We are pressured by our equals at times because we want to be accepted. This is the force per unit area that drove us into an eternal rhythm of outlooks that we ensue everyday.
